Home-made hamburgers are so quick and cheap to make that it’s really not worth buying them ready-made, and they freeze well too.
Serves 2-4
500g (1 lb) lean minced beef
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or teaspoon of dried parsley
seasoning
Method
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well together. Shape the mixture into 4 large, round patties.
Pop under a medium grill for around 8 minutes on each side until cooked through. Serve in sesame seed buns with salad and mustard and maybe some potato wedges (see our recipe).
