Chicken wings baked with a spicy, devilled sauce. You won’t be able to eat these without licking your fingers.
Serves 2
1 small onion, very finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed (or use a garlic press)
1 tablespoon clear honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
few drops of Tabasco
12 chicken wings
Method
Preheat the oven to 200C,400F, Gas 6. Place the onion, garlic, honey, olive oil, tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco together in a small saucepan. Simmer together for 5 minutes.
Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet and brush all over with the sauce. Bake for about 30 minutes, basting occasionally with sauce, until cooked through and golden brown.
