SOFT CHEESE & WALNUTS

Soft cheese is readily available in supermarkets flavoured with garlic, herbs and pepper. With a little heat, it melts down to produce a delicious creamy sauce that works brilliantly as a pasta sauce or a topping for a hot potato.

 

Serves 1

  • 1 hot baked potato
  • 60g (2 oz) flavoured soft cheese, such as Boursin
  • 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts

Method

  1. Cut a large cross into the potato and squeeze the potato to open it out. Pop in the soft cheese and sprinkle over the walnuts.
